aromatherapy treatment of tranquility massage - 60 mins $65
This aromatic massage utilizes floral essences and medical-grade essential oils. By varying both the essential oil combinations and massage techniques, healing affects your physical, emotional, and spiritual centers to promote deep but gentle rebalancing and rejuvenation. A beautifully relaxing massage that is particularly good for exhaustion, headaches, stress and circulation.
deep muscle therapy and sports massage - 50 mins $65
Deep muscle therapy concentrates on releasing the deeper layers of the muscles and connective tissue, therefore enhancing circulation while reducing adhesions. Perfect for before or after a lot of physical activity. A very deep form of massage that includes cross-fiber work on specific muscle groups, injury care, and stretching.
Hawaiian lomi lomi - 80 mins $85
This massage originated from the ancient Polynesian methods of restoring balance to the body, mind and soul. The body worker treats you with their arms and hands in flowing circular movements over the body, allowing maximum increased circulation in a deep but non-intrusive manner. Hawaiian pule (prayer) and work on the ‘opu (abdomen) help you access deep inner places and replace stress with aloha.
hot stone therapy (added to any session) $30
Using heated stones, this treatment goes beyond the physical and allows you to enter a deeper sense of relaxation, health and well being. The penetrating heat of the stones softens body tissues, allowing trigger points to dissolve and fade with minimal effort. Some of the benefits include relief of chronic pain, relaxation and stress reduction, detoxification of the body, and relief of neck and back pain.
foot massage - 30 mins $35
Following an aromatic foot bath, your feet will be pampered with exfoliants and deep reflexology while you sit back, relax, and sip herb tea.
facial massage - 30 mins $35
Using hot towels, your face receives a deep cleanse, gentle exfoliation, and fragrant moisturizing treatment with fine, light crèmes and botanicals.
couples massage - 55 mins $120
After a leisurely stroll and soak in the gardens at the hot ponds, both of you can indulge in an intimate side-by-side massage session.

FAQs about Massage Therapy

What are the benefits of massage ?

In addition to immediately reducing stress and restoring inner peace, most benefits affect the skin, circulatory, nervous, and muscular systems. Massage increases blood and lymph flow as it brings fresh oxygen and nutrients to your cells and tissues, it calms and restores normal activity to the nerves, and it softens muscles as chronic tension dissipates.
What is included in spa treatments ?
Botanical products, water, heat, and cold are applied skillfully to exfoliate and re-hydrate the skin, restoring a healthy glow and natural softness.
What can I expect during and after my session ?
During a brief interview, you will be assessed for any specific needs. After disrobing, you will be draped between fresh sheets on a massage table. The therapist will professionally disrobe various parts of your body as the massage routine progresses. Ideally, you will experience a few places where ‘it hurts so good’ as deep muscular tension is addressed. If at any time you feel uncomfortable or the pressure is too hard or light, you should immediately tell the therapist. During the session you may ‘drift away’ or doze off. When you are finished, you should take it easy and drink a lot of water.
What is Hawaiian lomilomi ?
Traditional lomilomi utilized massage strokes (like kupele kneading and kahi stroking) to all muscles and the abdomen with a gentle but deep rhythm. While smelling island fragrances and listening to tropical music and nature sounds, your body will receive a good deal of unconditional aloha. You will also be reminded of ways to malama (care for) yourself.
What happens during a wellness retreat ?
Depending on the duration and focus of the retreat, you will unwind from the inside out. Healthy and delicious foods, peaceful activities, soaks in the magical waters of the hot springs, and beautiful walks in nature will allow you to release all that no longer serves you.
What are the most important things to do to improve my health ?
Exercise, positive affirmations, high-fiber low-fat foods, cleansing, and the guidance of wellness counselors and lifestyle coaches can collectively lead you back to the road to joy and rejuvenation! With a little patience and perseverance, old habits can be replaced with fun and healthy activities and ideas to empower and inspire you!
