Meet our Instructors and Guest Speakers:

nancy Nancy S. Kahalewai, LMT
State licensed in 1977, Nancy was also Nationally (NCTMB) certified in 1994. She was the former Director of both the Hawaiian Islands School of Massage (1983-1988), and the Big Island Academy of Massage (1992-2003). She authored Hawaiian Lomilomi, which has been translated and published in Japanese and German. Today she teaches Lomi Lomi, Aromatherapy, Reflexology, Anatomy, and Hawaiian cultural classes.
AuntyM Kumu Elele Mahealani
A former kumu hula for 14 years, Mahealani Kuamo'o-Henry teaches her family's line of Pono ke Ala (the right path). She is an artist, author, ho'opono pono teacher, and a native Hawaiian interdenominational Kahu-priestess certified in the State of Hawaii to perform weddings and ceremonial events. She comes from a lineage of healers, teachers, and counselors.
daniel albers Daniel Albers, LMT.
Teaching 5-day workshops in a style that is a cross between the "temple style" and Aunty Margaret's, Daniel Albers travels to teach intermediate Lomilomi courses in the USA as well as twice a year here.   He maintains a private practice in downtown Hilo and teaches a small group of apprentices.
